They asked Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island, Michigan was built in 1887, and the experience of staying there is truly one-of-a-kind. They just don't make 'em like that anymore. But time was passing the hotel's marketing by, as more and more people went online to research hotels and make reservations. They asked us to fix this problem.
We answered with an online advertising campaign targeted at higher-income, highly-educated consumers with a propensity to travel, and an even higher propensity to enjoy unique travel experiences like Grand Hotel.
This happened Grand Hotel's streak of 90%-occupied seasons was extended to more than 10, and clickthroughs on their website (which we designed) increased by 30%.
