WHY B2B IS A-OK WITH THIS EP.

  1.  For the B2B audience, the decision is more rational, less emotional.
  2.  As a result, we usually create a more sophisticated message.
  3.  The challenge of delivering rational info in an entertaining way is sort of like solving a puzzle. There’s satisfaction in doing it.
  4.  On B2B accounts, you learn something new every day. Contrast that to trying to say a golf ball goes straighter and further than the other straighter and further golf ball.
  5.  More often, the audience is well educated on the subject and there’s no need to dumb things down.
  6.  The targets are generally well defined and easily reached via media.
  7.  Typically smaller budgets make it more challenging than simply overwhelming the audience with a heavy spend. This creates opportunities for out-of-the-box ideas and other unusual solutions.
  8.  There’s usually more client contact stability–they tend to stay at their companies longer which makes relationships stronger.
  9.  B2B typically still includes print, and print is still fun for this old dinosaur.
  10.  It’s easy to stand out because so much B2B work is dreadful.
